Winter Field Day
January 25, 2019 @ 12:00 - January 28, 2019 @ 11:00$25
Winter Field Day event. Yes the event does cost if you can pay. I work hard for my money and I know that not everyone is able to afford it. If you can’t, don’t fret. If you can help, any bit helps.
This event is a fun event for those who enjoy getting on the air. Maybe brag to the other states about our “horrible” winter weather. Yes this place does get down near freezing. Last year we had frost on tents.
Items to bring, your own food and ways to cook (there are charcoal grills up there). Location does have running water (good tasting as well). They have toilets and showers. Bring your own sleeping quarters. Chances are, we will have multiple radios and antennas out there, so those of you who don’t have one, we can accommodate you. If you have something you want to bring out, by all means…bring it.
There are no tall trees, so most of us use masts.
Yes we will have a campfire, if allowed. Last year there were no campfire restrictions, so we had one. If you have wood, bring it up.

We are once again in the Cormorant loop. Nice small area, off the beaten path. Great for our group. So far all the other group sites are not booked for that weekend. So chances are, we will have zero complaints about us running generators all day and night.
